Overview of Endoscopic Trigger finger surgery

[Insertion of guide section]
・ There are 2 types of Endoscopic Trigger finger surgery, one portal and two portals respectively.
・ First two videos are Two portal method, and the last one portal.
・ Although initial skin incisions are 4mm in length, dimeter of the incision stretches up to 6.28mm(4x3.14/2) by introducing the cannula(Endoscope). This means that when the cannula is removed at the end of surgery, there remains 6mm+ skin incision with some laceration on cut edges.
 Typical two-portal endoscopic surgery.

  [Authors comment]
・ Author reccomends 7 mm incision at the very start, to minimize cut edges laceration for clear wound recovery.
・ Author had no experience of endoscopic triggerfinger surgery.
・ It is beneficial to compare Endoscopic surgery with Guided-knife surgery for trigger fingers.
